ProductBASE Tickets Them All
One of DataServe's first sales was to Aero Designs, an Australian furniture
company committed to producing inexpensive and well designed products.
DataServe wrote a custom-designed dBASE III progrma that managed price
tickets and printed them out. It included label specifications for both
the Epson LQ-2500+ and the NEC PinWriter P7, the two printers owned by
Aero.
The product, which we call ProductBASE, has a custom menu-driven interface
which makes it a breeze to use. To quote Bryan Howard, Managing Director
of Aero Designs: 'ProductBASE was logicial, effective, accurate and provided
a low-cost solution for our price list and price tickets.' We can send
you a copy of ProductBASE, for $20. We are also testing a related program,
NameBASE, which creates mailing lists.
